l’Enclos des Lauriers Roses offers an original concept in the heart of Provence. Our establishment occupies a small village in the heart of the village of Cabrières. We often say that it is "a village within a village".
The stone houses that make up the hotel are distributed around four swimming pools in a landscaped area with Provencal scents. These pools, scattered between the different buildings, allow everyone to have fun or relax under the Provencal azure while enjoying the song of the cicadas and the breeze that sometimes makes the oleanders rustle.
Whether you are coming to spend the weekend or as part of a longer stay, alone, in love or with family, be assured that we will do everything possible to make you live a pleasant experience.
Our atypical hotel is located in a sunny region, 13 kilometres from the city of Nîmes. Each room is different in terms of its surface area, layout and decoration. We wanted to offer different atmospheres to allow you to experience a renewed stay each time you come back to visit us.
Classic or contemporary decoration, cosy and elegant, you will feel like in a small Provençal bastide. In the garden, you will often feel the breath of the mistral wind, sometimes caress, sometimes playful. And if you go up to the heights of the village by the small paths, you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys.
Internet access in each room, with free WiFi. Mini-Bar, hairdryer, Flat screen, air conditioning. Pets accepted (extra charge).

Our hotel is located about 40 kilometres from Saint-Rémy de Provence, a lovely town in the heart of the Alpilles Regional Natural Park. We are here in landscapes that Vincent Van Gogh was particularly fond of. You will be able to, at the bend of your escapades in Provence, to admire the Sainte-Victoire mountain or the Mont Ventoux, dear to the Provençal people. The Sainte-Victoire is located east of Aix-en-Provence. It has inspired some sixty paintings by Paul Cézanne. Did you know that Nostradamus lived in the Provençal village of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence? Today it is a welcoming and lively village, especially during the wine and arts and crafts festival.
From our hotel, you will also be about 1 hour from Aix-en-Provence. If you are going to visit this beautiful city, don't forget to take a stroll on the Cours Mirabeau. Provence is admired, listened to, breathed and lived. Visit the rotunda, the Cézanne workshop, the Vasarely foundation, the thermal baths, the quarries of lights, the Granet museum, the great theatre of Provence... Stroll through its historical and medieval centre, there are so many shops, cafés and restaurants. And don't forget to take a box of the local speciality: calissons! Calissons d'Aix are small lozenge-shaped pastries made with marzipan.
Have you considered visiting the archaeological site of the Roman city of Glanum? With its mausoleum, it will be a beautiful discovery for all lovers of Mediterranean history.
The castles of the Baux-de-Provence or L'Isle sur la Sorgue are also a short drive away. Maussane les Alpilles is also worth a visit, with its alleys, the center of trees and its fields of Lavender.
Let us not forget, among all these charming villages of Provence:
- Lacoste, where the castle of the Marquis de Sade is located.
- Saint-Etienne du Grès: the gateway to the Alpilles and its equestrian centre.
- Saint-Martin de Crau and its festivities.
- Vaison-la-Romaine and its Roman remains.
- The perched village of Dauphin.
- Maillane, Frédéric Mistral's native village.
- Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and its crafts.
